Students translate a reading passage from the target language into their native language. The reading passage focuses on several classes: vocabulary and grammatical structures in the passage. The passage may be excerpted from some work from the target language literature, or a teacher may write a passage carefully designed to include particular grammar rules and vocabulary. The translation may be written or spoken or both. Students should not translate idioms and the like literally, but rather in a way that shows that they understand their meaning. Students answer questions in the target language based on their understanding of the reading passage. The questions are sequenced so that the first group of questions asks for information contained within the reading passage. Students are given one set of words and are asked to find antonyms in the reading passage. Students could also be asked to find synonyms for a particular set of words. Students might be asked to define a set of words based on their understanding of them as they occur in the reading passage. Students are taught to recognize cognates by learning the spelling or sound patterns that correspond between the languages.

But I want to answer the charges of user Obsuser. Yes, I blocked the user Obsuser. Because I was the only one who had the courage to do it. He has for many years made a circus of the project, many things worked without consultation with the community, acted arbitrarily. Violated rules and many things. I have had problems with some administrators on srwiki in the past, but there is no need to even consider taking such measures on srwiki like for hrwiki what we are discussing here. Here are other users in the community to confirm my allegations: @Soundwaweserb, MareBG, and :. Zoranzoki21 talk 18:53, 31 October 2019 UTC Strong oppose IMHO each community should be able to decide whether they want to be left leaning or right leaning. Most language versions are probably left leaning because people that tend to work voluntarily on an encyclopedia are likely left leaning. But if the Croatian Wikipedia is "right leaning" and the community has decided that that should be that way there should be no interference in that from outside. Should this RfC come to fruition as proposed above, CW itself will die, and users from similar language projects, who have never lifted a finger to assist CW before, will be granted free reign on it, free to write whatever they see fit, with no regards for truth nor the credence and sentiments of Croatian people.

Murrays books were the sources of many well known motifs which have often been incorporated into Wicca. The idea that covens should have 13 members was developed by Murray, based on a single witness statement from one of the witch trials, as was her assertion that covens met on the cross quarter days four times per year. Murray was very interested in ascribing naturalistic or religious ceremonial explanations to some of the more fantastic descriptions found in witch trial testimony. For example, many of the confessions included the idea that Satan was personally present at coven meetings. Murray interpreted this as a witch priest wearing horns and animal skins, and a pair of forked boots to represent his authority or rank; most mainstream folklorists, on the other hand, have argued that the entire scenario was always fictitious and does not require a naturalistic explanation, but Gardner enthusiastically adopted many of Murrays explanations into his own tradition. The witch cult theory represented the historical narrative around which Wicca built itself, with the early Wiccans claiming to be the survivors of this ancient pagan religion. Other influences upon early Wicca included various Western esoteric traditions and practices, among them ceremonial magic, Aleister Crowley and his religion of Thelema, Freemasonry, Spiritualism, and Theosophy. To a lesser extent, Wicca also drew upon folk magic and the practices of cunning folk. It was further influenced both by scholarly works on folkloristics, particularly James Frazers The Golden Bough, as well as romanticist writings like Robert Graves The White Goddess, and pre existing modern Pagan groups such as the Order of Woodcraft Chivalry and Druidism. It was during the 1930s that the first evidence appears for the practice of a pagan Witchcraft religion what would be recognisable now as Wicca in England. It seems that several groups around the country, in such places as Norfolk, Cheshire and the New Forest had set themselves up as continuing in the tradition of Murrays Witch Cult, albeit with influences coming from disparate sources such as ceremonial magic, folk magic, Freemasonry, Theosophy, Romanticism, Druidry, classical mythology, and Asian religions.

Nets should be at least 20 feet high for speedball fields, although 12 foot high nets may work in forested areas. Align spectator areas so that they are parallel with the field of play, which will reduce the amount of paint heading towards those watching the action. In indoor ranges, spectating areas can be placed in a variety of locations, but they should always be separated via glass partitions or netting. Secure all obstacles to the floor or ground to prevent them from moving and causing injuries, and be sure all obstacles are free of sharp edges or trip hazards. Always comply with all local laws and regulations regarding paintball courses. Contact your local zoning board to determine if paintball courses are legal in your area, and consult with an attorney if you plan to profit from the field or make the course open to the public. Your attorney will likely recommend obtaining liability insurance and instruct you to have participants sign a waiver before playing. Sitting through a college course when you already know the information wastes your time and leads to boredom. Challenging a college course allows you to take a test, write a paper or create a project to demonstrate your knowledge and obtain course credit without having to attend classes and complete the daily work. Each school sets its own requirements for challenging a course, but some aspects of this practice are common throughout academia. Read the school policy about challenging a course before registration.
